NASA’s High School Aerospace Scholars Summer Opportunities

Information and Application

​NASA’s High School Aerospace Scholars:

HAS is an authentic learning experience for Texas high school juniors to engage with NASA's mission to become the next generation of explorers.  Students are able to learn about different STEM related fields of study they might want to pursue in college.  Following a series of online lessons, highest achieving students will be invited to an all-expenses-paid, week-long visit to NASA's Johnson Space Center in Houston during the summer. Selected participants will plan a mission to Mars while being mentored and receiving guidance from NASA scientists and engineers. Both the online and onsite portions are free to participants.

Stanford  Pre Collegiate Summer Institutes

Information and Application

​Stanford Pre-Collegiate Summer Institutes is a three-week summer residential program where participants engage in a single-subject intensive study and benefit from the small class size and academically themed residences.

Courses are offered in a range of subject areas, including Arts, Business, Bioscience, Computer Science, Creative Writing, Engineering, Math, Physics, Political Science, and more. Each course is customized by its instructors to give students deep exposure and hands-on experience. Academics and social activities are integrated into every aspect of our program. Peers and mentors from around the world, first-rate instructional and residential staff and the beautiful Stanford University campus come together to create an unparalleled experience.
