Welcome to Miller Career & Technology Center. This is a unique school with so much to offer students. This is my 9th year at MCTC. My role here is Instructional Coordinator; prior to this I taught PACE and AP Literature. Being an educator is a rewarding career, and I feel privileged to work with young adults. My goal is to inspire you to be a hard worker and to help you become excellent communicators as you prepare for the next phase in life.
I graduated from Texas A&M University in College Station with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, a minor in speech communications, and a secondary certification. I earned my Master of Science degree in Educational Management with principal certification from the University of Houston Clear Lake.
I began my teaching career at Katy High School in 1998 where I taught English II & III. I was also an assistant swim coach for the Katy Aqua Tigers. After a break from teaching to be a stay-at-home mom for my two kids, I returned to the classroom at Miller Career & Technology Center.
I have lived in Katy for over 40 years. I am a product of KISD schools, and I take great pride in this wonderful “little" town. It has become more excellent though the years.
