Welcome to the JEE Physical Education Website!

Physical Education

We are looking forward to a fulfilling year with your child in physical education. The students come to PE for 50 minutes every other day. They will receive a conduct grade and a performance grade each six weeks. Our goal is to help all children improve and achieve their fullest potential in an atmosphere that is fun, safe and educational.

P.E. Mission Statement

The purpose of the Jo Ella Exley Physical Education program is to provide all students with the knowledge, skills and desire to live a healthy and physically active lifestyle.

P.E. Philosophy

Physical Education has a direct bearing on the physical, mental, emotional and social development of all students. A healthy, physically active student is more likely to be academically motivated, alert and successful. Our program will enable students to develop individual knowledge and lifetime skills to become healthy, physically active, and productive members of society.

P.E. Dress Code

For the safety and comfort of your child in PE, please have your child wear or bring athletic shoes with a rubber sole, closed toe, and full support around the heel and top of the foot. Flip flops, boots, open toed sandals, dress shoes, cleats, and shoes with a strap across the back are hazardous and therefore not permissible. Your child’s safety is a priority and we know you will help us help them make safe shoe choices in PE. Refer to the dress code on and campus Parent/Student Handbook.

Please let us introduce ourselves by clicking on our names below.
