Seniors, plan ahead!
Your counselor needs an advanced notice of at least 21 working days (not counting weekends and holidays) to write a recommendation letter. Pick up a Recommendation packet in the counselors' office or print one off at the tab to the right. This is your first step in obtaining a letter of recommendation.
Packets will not be processed before August 1st 2022. Students will need to scan and email their completed packet to their counselor.
All seniors applying for college should be aware of these important dates:
• November 15th deadline for letters of recommendation is October 17th.
• December 1st deadlines for letters of recommendation is October 26th.
Please notify the Counselor's Office of all scholarships received by sending us a copy of the award letter. This information is needed whether the scholarship is accepted or not.
In addition to the scholarship bulletin, please check individual college websites for school-specific scholarships. Check back often on this website and with colleges. The University of Texas and Texas A&M have early deadlines for their freshman scholarships, so check their websites'.
