Why take Dental Assisting and what type of experience will students gain?

If you are considering a career in the dental field as a hygienist or a dentist, this course is a great starting point. Dental Assisting lays a foundation of language, anatomy, and procedures that will be used in all dental career paths. Hands on experience includes practicing the skills you learn in our state of the art dental lab with 3 industry level, fully functional dental chairs. Our students will learn how to operate suctioning equipment, how to take full sets of X-rays, create bleach trays, and learn how to properly sterilize lab equipment among many other skills.
